My current photo equipment consists of a Nikon D300 and Fuji S2 Pro camera bodies and a bunch of Nikon F-Mount lenses. The Fuji S2 Pro offers some unbeatable color quality, especially for skin tones. The D300 on the other hand is a sturdy machine gun, able to sustain rough photographic conditions (rain, mud…) and shooting fast, even in burst mode. The Fuji S2 Pro mechanics actually start to feel old, hence I’m thinking about replacing it. I’m in contemplation both for the Fuji S5 and the Nikon D7000. I’ll get deeper into this when I’ll eventually be ready for the purchase.
As for my lenses, I currently own the following:
- Peleng 8mm F/3.5 [fisheye, the weird lens of mine]
- Tokina 12-24mm F/4 [couldn't live without it in urban environments]
- Nikon 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 ["offroad" lens]
- Nikon 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6 [my everyday tool]
- Nikon 50mm F/1.4 [awesome lens for portraits]
- Nikon 80-200mm F/2.8 [sport, portraits, closeups]
